March 25, 2019 Contact: Adam Mathews, cell: 513-265-0925 Mathews Makes It Official, Begins Lebanon City Council Campaign Conservative Adam Mathews Files for Lebanon City Council (Lebanon, OH) Local patent and small business attorney Adam Mathews has begun collecting signatures for his petitions to run for Lebanon City Council. This year, three of the seven seats are open. Mathews is planning monthly forums around Lebanon to discuss the issues that matter most to the community. “A community works best with accountability and a respect for the inherent integrity of every individual,” said Mathews. “As a city councilman, I would hold regular meetings open to the public to informally discuss what is on their minds. These forums are a way to start those conversations as a candidate.” Mathews will run his campaign highlighting his experience helping small business owners and innovators here in Lebanon, as well as his involvement helping the community through his work as a member of the Parks & Recreation Board, Main Street Lebanon’s Board, and St. Francis de Sales’ parish council. Issues that Mathews has prioritized include expanding downtown while maintaining its character, improving accountability and efficiency in government, and reducing the tax burden on the citizens of Lebanon. “As Lebanon continues to grow, it's very important that we maintain and showcase our character,” Mathews said. “We must work together to have a downtown to be proud of while still having that charm and authenticity we all know and love.” Mathews, a two-time graduate of Notre Dame, is a partner in the law firm of Dearie, Fischer & Mathews LLC providing legal services to southwest Ohio. He lives in Lebanon with his wife Amanda and three children, Rachael, Alexander, and Felicity. His campaign website can found at www.votemathews.com. ###
